Software Engineer and Analyst Job Description

As a software engineer and analyst, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of software development life cycles, from preliminary system analysis to deployment. They should be able to write well-designed, testable code and produce specifications to determine operational feasibility.

  • Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code
  • Produce detailed technical specifications and ensure they are feasible for implementation
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive work experience as a software engineer or similar roles
  • Expertise in designing interactive applications
  • Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages
  • Deep knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience developing web applications using popular frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
  • Test-driven development expertise
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
