Job Overview:

The Center for Climate Change & Energy Transition aims to be a hub of research and expertise in sustainable energy solutions, environmental stewardship, and climate resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous research and data analysis to inform global climate policies.
  • Lead and contribute to the creation of analytical research reports, policy papers, discussion papers, and articles.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources.
  • Oversee projects, including planning, budget management, and coordination responsibilities.
  • Establish relationships with industry participants, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Search and review published literature on research topics.
  • Supervise undergraduate project interns or other personnel on research-related tasks.
  • Assist with manuscript development and grant applications.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Organize events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Facilitate academic discussions and policy dialogues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or energy economics.
  • PhD in the given domain is an advantage.
  • 13+ years of work experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and research software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship skills and team ethics.
  • Published scholarly research and/or op-eds during the last five years.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and deliver results under tight deadlines.
