International Student Recruitment Specialist

Algonquin College is a leading polytechnic institution in Canada seeking an International Admissions Support Officer to support its growth in the South Asia markets.
The successful candidate will be based in New Delhi and work closely with the on-campus team and staff across countries. They will be responsible for supporting the recruitment function by converting leads and applicants to registered students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applicant Counselling and Admissions Assessment activities: Review applications and documents submitted by students or agents, manage leads and applications using Algonquin College's CRM system (Salesforce), screen students for academic abilities and goals, respond to inquiries via email, video conferencing/meeting, and social media platforms.
- Applicants guidance and support: Provide counselling and admission guidance to ensure that students apply to programs commensurate with their academic potential and career goals, collect and enter accurate inquiry details in Algonquin College's CRM system.
- Inquiries and Lead Management: Provide tailored and timely response to inquiries received to generic email accounts and to leads generated via various marketing activities.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, experience in communicating with diverse audiences, and familiarity with CRM systems. A degree in Business or Marketing and knowledge of the Canadian education system would be desirable.
