Structural Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce 3D models consistent with instruction, industry guidelines, and standards.
  • Clearly annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to industry standards.
  • Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
Requirements:
  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with AutoCAD software.
  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together.
  • Ability to think in 3-D.
  • Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from the engineer.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a team.
