Structural Design Engineer - Entry Level

We are currently seeking a recent graduate or early-career professional to fill the role of Junior Structural Design Engineer.

About the Position:

This opportunity provides hands-on training and direct involvement in the design, drafting, and analysis of marine structures, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications for marine structures.
  • Support senior engineers in structural analysis and prepare CAD drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives, deadlines, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Basic knowledge of structural design principles and marine standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting).
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
Desirable Skills:
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to solve design-related problems.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the marine structural design field.
