Senior Operations Leader

About the Role:

  • We seek a senior operations leader to lead our operations team and drive strategic growth.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing business strategies, setting performance goals, and establishing policies that promote company vision.
  • They will oversee daily operations, managing executives from various departments, leading employees to maximize performance and dedication, and evaluating performance by analyzing data and metrics.
  • In addition, they will assist the CEO in fundraising ventures, participate in expansion activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, they will drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in maritime industries, including ship repair and upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics.
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
