Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Data Engineering

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled technical project manager to lead our data engineering initiatives. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to leverage their expertise in managing cross-functional teams, developing strategic plans, and delivering successful projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data engineering, strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from initiation to delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Define and prioritize product and project backlogs.
  • Collaborate with business units to capture and translate requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Oversee BI and analytics areas including dashboard development and ad hoc reporting capabilities.
  • Evaluate and ensure that data quality, lineage, security, and compliance requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements:
  • Experience:
  • 13+ years of experience in IT with 6+ years as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Delivery Lead.
  • Data Engineering Skills:
  • Data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of modern data architecture: data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, ETL/ELT, governance, and AI tooling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and DataOps/MLOps practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
