Project Manager Role

The role of a Technical Project Manager is to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

  • Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope.
  • Develop strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms is preferred.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Proficient with project management tools.
