Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead our DevOps capability for Cloud services.

  • The successful candidate will design and develop cloud infra based architecture and solutions, working closely with clients to deliver outcomes per the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • This role requires strong understanding and implementation of DevSecOps Framework and hands on experience with container technologies, microservices architecture and automation tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
  • A solid understanding of design principles for resilient, scalable, high-performing distributed applications is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have integrated code quality and security tools in CICD and worked with build and release to cloud services like Azure WebApp, Logic App, Data Factory, Databricks and other services.
  • This position also requires collaboration with multiple teams, flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and effective communication of target state architecture topology on cloud to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in cloud platforms to architect enterprise ready secure and scalable solution optimized for cost.
  • Engage with customers to understand their use cases and operational needs, as well as engage with cloud platform vendors to understand their technology roadmaps and evolution.
  • Design for cloud security and compliance ensuring solutions and operations reliability.
  • Drive and conduct audits on current cloud utilization and recommend cloud optimization and security changes.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years experience
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps

Skillset:

  • Well versed with IaaS and PaaS services of Azure, Google Cloud or AWS
  • Strong understanding and implementation of DevSecOps Framework
  • Hands on experience with container technologies and microservices architecture
  • Hands on experience with Unix and Linux based systems, shell scripting
  • Effective communication of target state architecture topology on cloud to clients
  • Solid understanding of design principles for resilient, scalable, high-performing distributed applications
  • Experience with automation, orchestration, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • Have integrated code quality and security tools in CICD
  • Worked with build and release to cloud services like Azure WebApp, Logic App, Data Factory, Databricks and other services
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, collaborate effectively with multiple teams and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as a Code script like Terraform, ARM, Pulumi or others
  • Experience in programming languages like Python, Bash, Perl, VBScript, GoLang, will be an added advantage
  • Monitoring and Logging tools knowledge/experience like Azure Monitor, App Insight and Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana and Fluentbit will be added advantage
  • Deep understanding of Azure networking and Landing zone architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security
  • Cloud certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or Azure Certfied Solutions Architect Expert
