Job Summary

This role oversees the management of complex projects and programs within a technology organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Establish effective communication channels with development, product management, and application teams.
  • Drive project progress and launch activities for critical milestones.
  • Predict and mitigate potential conflicts in priorities or schedule as they arise.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts promptly.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage risks, and report on project status.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and constraints.
  • Manage vendor relationships to align priorities and plan roadmaps.
  • Build and manage project timelines, status reports, financial reports, risk logs, and lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear agendas, meeting minutes, and action items are documented and followed up on.
  • Support ongoing learning and skill development through training, workshops, and industry events.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project management templates, tools, and best practices.

  • Proven ability to lead teams to decisions and drive consensus.
  • Demonstrated skill in proactively identifying and resolving project roadblocks.
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out opinions and build trust/buy-in across all functional teams.
  • Experience with a variety of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Experience building and managing timelines, status reports, and financial reports.
  • At least 3-5 years of project or program management experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience and technical knowledge of IaaS (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), Networking, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and cross-organizational relationships with engineering, product, and marketing leaders is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or other advanced program management/project management certification is an advantage.
  • MBA degree is an advantage.
