Design Engineering Leadership Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Engineer to lead our design engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with 20+ years of experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring clear understanding of design regulatory requirements for the aero domain, reviewing WPL recommendations/requests on DOA scope, and reviewing independently the nominee's necessary qualification before proposing them to HOE.

  • Accountable for independent technical reviews and ensure applicable compliances.
  • Identify and provide required trainings and close monitoring of the effectiveness during mentoring phase.
  • Review monthly data of all nominees & signatories as per audit/compliances requirements.

About You:

The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, and structures. They must also have sound knowledge on Airbus methods and applicable procedures, as well as aerospace stress activities and various ATA chapters.

In addition, they should be capable of creating detailed technical write-ups and effort estimations for technical proposals.

They should possess good communication skills, presentation skills, project management skills, risks and mitigations skills, and problem-solving skills.
