Global Pharmaceutical Ingredient Procurement Professional

We are seeking a skilled API Sourcing Specialist to manage our global procurement activities for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
About the Role:
- Identify and qualify API suppliers globally, ensuring alignment with our client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements with vendors to guarantee cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including request for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supply contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Track market trends, supply risks, and alternative sourcing options to maintain a reliable supply base.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to foster trust and partnership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in API sourcing, procurement, or supplier management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Understanding of global regulatory requirements for API sourcing.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment.
