Job Title: Senior Accountant

This role requires an individual with exceptional financial management skills, experience in preparing and verifying financial documents, and a strong understanding of statutory compliance.

  • Prepare accurate purchase and sales bills, ensuring alignment with POs, invoices, and supplementary bills.
  • Manage cash flow effectively, create vouchers, and record daily transactions in accounting systems.
  • Oversee creditor management, process vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS, and handle LC documentation efficiently.
  • Compile monthly bank reconciliation statements and maintain salary and attendance registers accurately.
  • Assist in finalizing accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Draft official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • Generate MIS reports for management to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • TDS computation and payment, e-filing of returns, issuing Form 16/16A, advance tax computation, and ITR filing.
  • GST registration, amendments, challan generation, filing of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bills.
  • PF and ESI contributions, UAN generation, transfers/withdrawals, and employee registration under PF/ESI.
  • VAT/CST, Excise Duty – filing, reconciliations, and audit support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance as a minimum.
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounts is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple statutory timelines successfully.
