Industrial Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to lead design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in OT/IT integration, system interconnectivity, and industrial interoperability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards (ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
