Job Title:

A Systems Support Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of payment systems.

  • Monitoring ACH and Dovetail server operations, service availability, and restarts is crucial.
  • The position tracks CNS file movement from ingestion to PEP+ arrival and reprocesses files as needed.
  • Application health validation using Splunk, Dynatrace, and JMX webapp follows established SOPs for error handling.
  • Supporting Payee Name Verification changes involves coordinating with execution teams.
  • Certificate installations and validating DPP/EPP changes are also part of this role.
  • Access provisioning for tools like Splunk, OD, EC, Extropy, Linux servers, Kubernetes, and JMX requires attention to detail.
  • Deployments across CERT/PROD/DR environments on Authentication Gateway need thorough validation.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders helps identify gaps and implement improvements.
  • Incident analysis drives preventive actions to enhance system reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations or application support.
  • Familiarity with Linux, DB2 SQL, Splunk, Dynatrace, GitHub.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of payment processing systems or financial services environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and JMX webapp monitoring.
  • Certificate management and deployment validation skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • A passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
