Perforce System Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Perforce system architect to join our global engineering IT organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining large-scale distributed implementations of the Perforce SCM system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and extend Perforce for software development purposes, including integrated code peer review, continuous integration, performance data collection, and analysis.
  • Setup and maintain Edge Replica servers for load balancing and business continuity.
  • Maintain and configure Perforce Swarm and Code-Collaborator environments for code review.
  • Define requirements for hosted servers and cloud services to support Perforce-based continuous integration workflows.
  • Work with Splunk Business Intelligence tool to develop reports and monitoring conducive to predictive analytics and self-healing.
  • Implement and continuously improve workflows and processes, including branching strategies, site proxying, mirroring, disaster recovery, and archiving.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-8+ years of experience in Perforce administration.
  • Strong internal knowledge of Perforce functionality, database management, and analytical skills for troubleshooting critical issues.
  • Excellent Linux system administration skills, with hardcore storage concepts (NAS/SAN) and decent knowledge of network concepts.
