We're hiring a
Junior to Mid-Level System Administrator

for a full-time, in-office role at our Hyderabad studio.

In this role, you'll help maintain our IT systems, support tools like Perforce and Unreal Engine, and assist the team with day-to-day technical needs. This position is ideal for someone with basic IT and scripting knowledge, a strong interest in game development tech, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support:

Assist with maintaining and monitoring servers, workstations, and networking devices to ensure smooth daily operations.
- User Assistance:

Provide basic technical support to team members for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Tool Support:

Help manage Perforce and Unreal Engine setups under senior team guidance.
- Routine Admin Tasks:

Handle regular tasks like user account setup, system updates, and data backups; support automation using basic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Security & Backup:

Follow IT security protocols, assist in managing antivirus/firewall systems, and support backup procedures.
- Asset Management:

Maintain records of IT hardware and software assets; help ensure systems are current and functional.
- Documentation:

Support the team in keeping technical documentation up to date.
- Team Collaboration:

Work with other departments to support production needs and remote collaboration tools.
- Skill Development:

Actively learn new tools and practices by working closely with senior IT staff.
- Vendor Support:

Assist in coordinating with external vendors for IT purchases or service calls, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 0–3 years of experience in system administration, preferably within the CG industry.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and basic network administration.
  • Exposure to tools such as Perforce and Unreal Engine is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and interest in automation is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
