Job Title: Senior Collaboration Systems Engineer

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior systems engineer to join our team. In this role, you will automate business processes, participate in technical design of platforms, and manage ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications. Solid technical expertise and ability to collaborate with multiple teams are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.
  • Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure system security by implementing standards and responding to failures or performance issues promptly.
  • Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology support, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Extensive experience in administration and implementation of collaboration tools, including Microsoft suite and security frameworks like Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, and Power Platform, with the ability to build and deploy services efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose complex problems into manageable components and offer succinct solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere and work effectively on multi-functional team projects.
  • A successful track record of building efficiency workflows to deliver desirable outcomes.
  • Knowledge of other collaboration platforms for systems integration and automation support.
