Job Title:

Driving Business Innovation

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the discovery of emerging business opportunities and lead the development of innovative solutions that align with our company's vision.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in strategy development, market analysis, and innovation management. You will be responsible for identifying new business models, technologies, and partnerships that can help us grow and stay ahead in the industry.

  • Opportunity Identification & Landscape Analysis:

    You will conduct thorough research on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor moves to identify untapped market spaces and opportunities for growth.

  • Market Validation & Feasibility Assessment:

    Design and execute rigorous validation processes to assess the viability of new opportunity hypotheses and provide actionable insights to inform strategic investment decisions.

  • Strategic Incubation & Business Building:

    Lead the initial incubation phase for validated opportunities, defining product-market fit and building minimal viable products (MVPs) or prototypes that meet the needs of our target market.

  • Ecosystem Engagement:

    You will build and leverage a network of external contacts to stay ahead of emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.

  • Strategic Communication:

    Clearly communicate findings and progress to senior leadership to inform strategic investment decisions and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategy role such as corporate strategy, venture capital, management consulting, product management, or business development within a technology context.
  • Proven experience in market analysis, new venture development, or managing early-stage innovation projects.
  • Deep understanding of IoT technology stack, competitive landscape, and key market drivers.
  • Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience building business cases from the ground up.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity, developing structure around poorly defined problems.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred: Experience taking a new product or business from concept through to launch and growing it into a successful and sustainable entity.
