Portfolio Risk Manager

As a senior risk professional, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating strategic initiatives to manage risk across various portfolios. This includes developing and executing plans to mitigate potential risks and opportunities, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and identifying areas for process improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to align risk management with the company's overall goals.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain risk reports and analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial markets with strong technical and people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Pursuing or holding a certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, CFA) is desirable.
- Prior experience with risk management software and tools is an advantage.
