Job Title: Risk Portfolio Analyst

Risk Portfolio Analysts are responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks within the company's portfolio. They work closely with senior management to ensure that the company is adequately prepared to mitigate these risks.


Key responsibilities of a Risk Portfolio Analyst include:

  • Identifying top and emerging risks across various business lines and functions
  • Reviewing and understanding market risk RWA, including staying up-to-date on regulatory developments
  • Working with cross-functional teams to analyze and communicate risk changes to senior management
  • Supporting ad-hoc queries from senior management and regulators on risk-related matters
  • Preparing regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into risk trends and metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A university degree in economics, mathematics, or another quantitative field
  • 3-6 years of experience in market risk management within the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
