Job Role: Benefits Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Specialist to support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our benefits module.

  • The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring seamless delivery of benefits processes and integrations.

The selected resource will be working full-time on the HR POD, attending daily stand-up calls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver stories within the sprint.

The role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to ensure accurate data flow and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain benefits plans, programs, rates, and eligibility profiles.
  • Support open enrollment and life event processing.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL data loads.
  • Build and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance.
  • Manage Oracle SRs and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.
  • Conduct functional and regression testing during upgrades and deployments.
  • Document configurations, processes, and change requests.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 3 in Benefits.
  • Understanding of benefits setup, eligibility rules, and enrollment flows.
  • Proficiency in building/modifying Extracts, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, and Fast Formulas.
  • Experience with HCM Extracts and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or Agile practices.
