Job Title: Senior GitLab Administrator

Description:

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior GitLab Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Security standards.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing GitLab on our servers, as well as integrating it with existing tools and services.
  • The role involves providing training and support to team members and engineers on using GitLab effectively, and assisting with the development of training materials.
  • Additional responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting issues with GitLab infrastructure, implementing best practices for version control and collaboration, and working closely with development teams to ensure successful adoption of GitLab.
  • The Senior GitLab Administrator will also develop and maintain documentation for GitLab setup and usage within the enterprise, recommend best practices around Microsoft Azure and GitLab, and assist with ad-hoc Azure DevOps queries.
  • Ongoing tasks will include provisioning and orchestrating container workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts, managing Windows and Linux instances, and performing troubleshooting of issues on infrastructure.
  • The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to tackle tasks based on priority and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Security standards.
  • Experience with implementing, configuring, and managing GitLab on servers.
  • Knowledge of integrating GitLab with existing tools and services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide training and support to team members and engineers.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
