A successful DevOps Expert at a leading organization plays a vital role in ensuring seamless integration and deployment of top-priority projects.

Key responsibilities include partnering with internal product groups and development teams to develop technical design and processes for continuous integration and continuous deployment. This involves advocating adherence to enterprise standards through collaboration with multiple development teams.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong CI/CD skills, be forward-thinking, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team striving for excellence.

To excel in this role, the following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience delivering and supporting enterprise customer-facing solutions
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD tools/systems
  • Leadership experience in designing and developing enterprise-class distributed CI/CD tools/systems
  • Automation/integration experience for end-user onboarding for enterprise systems (CI/CD tools)
  • Experience interacting with customers to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage solution requirements
  • Programming skills in .Net, Python, and/or Java, public/private cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and automation/continuous integration (Terraform, SonarQube, Jenkins, BitBucket, Harness)
  • SDLC experience including associated deployment methodologies, onboarding, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts, and source code management with GitLab
  • Experience implementing and supporting a large Nexus Repository Management environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries
  • Previous development/system engineering experience in heterogeneous environments
  • Working knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Salt, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience managing multiple technology projects and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
