About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biology Specialist to join our team of experts in AI research. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Biology, particularly at the PhD level, and be able to break down complex biological concepts into simple, clear explanations.

Key Responsibilities

The Biology Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Designing and solving challenging biology problems to probe the limitations of large language models.
  • Developing high-quality, step-by-step solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning.
  • Collaborating with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals, especially in areas where models typically struggle (e.g., conceptual abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and data interpretation).
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • The ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
