Job Overview:

As a skilled Network Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network security devices and systems to identify potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues related to firewalls, web application firewalls, proxies, and distributed denial of service systems.
  • Implement incident response plans using work instruction playbooks and runbook automations activities.
  • Support the development and improvement of Cybersecurity Operations Center core functions.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and changes in the incident management system.

Requirements:

  1. 3 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  2. Experience as a Network/Security Operations Engineer, network/security support analyst, or across multiple technologies.
  3. Understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools such as Indeni, Splunk, Moloch, QRadar, Solarwinds, NetCool, or other similar platforms.
  4. Knowledge of packet and protocol analysis from firewall/and other systems through tools such as Wireshark.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of native cloud-based security monitoring tools.
  6. General knowledge of networking and routing topology, cybersecurity frameworks, constructs, and auditable standards.
