Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to assume a key role in network security, resilience and enterprise reliability. This is a challenging position that requires the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Monitoring & Reporting
    • Monitor ISP/DC/DR/MPLS/P2P links on an hourly/daily basis.
    • Generate availability and utilization reports.
    • Maintain accurate records of network device inventory.
  • Firewall & Security Operations
    • Manage firewall access for DC/DR/MPLS/Cloud networks.
    • Implement IP whitelisting and block malware IPs according to SOC guidelines.
    • Analyze and review firewall rule bases.
    • Monitor NIPS/IPS logs and deploy relevant signatures.
  • Device Configuration & Backup
    • Regularly take and restore backups of DC/DR/HO/NDR network devices.
    • Configure VLANs on L2 switches as necessary.
    • Reset network device passwords when required.
  • Access & User Management
    • Deactivate Domain ID and VPN for users who are no longer on-role or off-role.
    • Analyze admin access and generate detailed reports.
  • Load Balancer Operations
    • Backup and configure rules on load balancers.
    • Create new application rules as needed.
  • Incident & Change Management
    • Address low-level incidents via email or phone calls.
    • Develop and implement change requests.
    • Collaborate with OEM for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Cloud & Virtualization Awareness
    • Familiarity with AWS and Azure firewalls/security features.
    • Understanding of ACI/AVS switch installation procedures.
