Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled LAN Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot secure enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Next-Generation Firewalls & Switches. Key responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing firewalls and switches, maintaining security policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Firewall Security
    • Design, deploy, and manage firewalls (physical and virtual appliances).
    • Manage and monitor firewalls including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
    • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to ensure both security and network performance.
    • Maintain and manage centralized firewall administration.
    • Monitor logs and alerts, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot firewall-related issues.
    • Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability setups, and DR testing.
  • Switching Management
    • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure.
    • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs.
    • Handle advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
    • Perform network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability design.
    • Support escalations and root cause analysis for complex network issues.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network solutions.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
    Requirements
    • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management.
    • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
    • Identity & Access Management
    • Minimum 10-15 years of enterprise network experience, 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security and managing team.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
