System Support Specialist

Impact and Responsibilities

  • Identify, diagnose and resolve complex system issues related to cloud-based applications.
  • Proactively detect and escalate unresolved issues to maintain system stability.
  • Provide timely technical assistance through a ticketing system.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality responses and efficient resolution times.
  • Maintain ongoing internal and external communication throughout analysis.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and manage critical situations.
  • Contribute to the Knowledge Base, document troubleshooting steps and problem resolutions.
  • Initiate and perform changes on production systems and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved within established timeframes.

Requirements and Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in application production support, preferably with SaaS hosted applications on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of administrating UNIX, Linux or Windows servers.
  • Experience with DB, MongoDB/MSSQL.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshworks, Kustomer.
  • Good knowledge of platform tools such as Postman for API requests.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise and desktop applications.
  • At least 2+ years of technical experience within the industry and/or proven customer support experience Globally, preferably within contact center applications.
  • Basic knowledge on Wireshark, Microsoft Office.
  • Telephony background is an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills for troubleshooting and ownership from start to end.
