Job Opportunity: Senior Database Developer

We are seeking a seasoned senior database developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable database schemas.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into efficient database designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex database schema, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions.
  • Perform thorough data modeling and create ER diagrams.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

  • Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using advanced debugging techniques.
  • Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques to enhance database efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively resolve database-related issues.

Database Administration & Maintenance:

  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for databases.
  • Ensure robust database security, access control, and data integrity.
  • Handle software patching, upgrades, and migrations to maintain database stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience as a senior database developer.
  • Expert-level SQL programming skills and knowledge of database design principles.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with large-scale database management systems.
