Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Ruby or Ruby on Rails is a Plus: Having experience in Ruby or Ruby on Rails can be beneficial in contributing to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend.">
  • Contribute to Architecture and Evolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend.">
  • Write Clean, Testable, and Efficient Code: Emphasize writing clean, testable, and efficient code that adheres to strong computer science fundamentals.">
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features that meet the needs of our users.">
  • Improve Performance and Observability: Focus on improving performance, monitoring, and observability of backend services to ensure seamless user experiences.">
  • Participate in Design Discussions and Code Reviews: Engage in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning to drive innovation and excellence in our engineering practices.">
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Production Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and root-cause analysis to ensure minimal downtime.">

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Software Engineering Experience: Possess 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.">
  • Strong Proficiency in Golang: Have strong proficiency in Golang, with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience being a plus.">
  • Solid Foundation in Computer Science Fundamentals: Possess a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.">
  • Proven Experience Building Distributed Systems: Have proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment.">
  • Familiarity with DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.">
  • Comfortable Working in Agile Environment: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindset.">
