About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Equity Research Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and updating financial models, conducting valuation analyses, and establishing accurate assumptions.

  • Develop and update complex financial models using scenario analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Conduct thorough valuation analyses using DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant methods to determine fair market value.
  • Establish accurate assumptions and provide well-reasoned valuations.
  • Screen large datasets to identify potential investment opportunities and support portfolio managers and chief investment officers in their decision-making processes.
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and participate in management meetings to stay informed about companies' performance.
  • Create and present pitch notes, industry insights, and thematic notes to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate databases and collect and analyze news related to the investments.
  • Respond to ad-hoc research requests and collaborate with clients and stakeholders through regular communication.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent analytical and numerical skills, as well as strong client relationship management and communication skills.

  • Proficient in financial modeling and report writing/presentation making skills.
  • Ability to think critically and analyze drivers and key performance indicators across various sectors.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Numerical and analytical skills.
  • Capacity to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue and cost driver assumptions.
  • Ability to conduct earnings sensitivity analysis and provide individual valuation views.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to present information in a logical and structured manner.
  • Ability to write concise bulletins and one-page summaries.
  • Capacity to link macro/industry analysis to the output and create effective presentations.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Python, SQL, and Power BI is advantageous.
