We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve incidents using industry-standard tools and techniques to ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues.
- Utilize the Service Now platform to track, manage, and report incidents and service requests, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain Windows-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Oversee networking infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and data flow, minimizing downtime and improving overall system efficiency.
- Deliver remote desktop support to users, providing them with seamless access to necessary resources and ensuring their productivity is not compromised.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and optimize IT processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Analyze incident trends to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures, reducing the likelihood of future incidents and enhancing overall IT resilience.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation for IT processes and procedures, ensuring that all relevant information is readily available and easily accessible.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance service delivery and improve overall IT performance.
Qualifications:
- Possess strong expertise in incident management, service desk operations, and IT service management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Service Now platform and other industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Have solid experience with Windows systems, networking infrastructure, and remote desktop support.
- Show understanding of the cards and payments domain and its IT requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Display ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bring excellent communication skills for user support, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless communication across all levels of the organization.
