Job Title: Technical Leadership Role

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers. The successful candidate will have experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design, code, and unit test business code in the new architecture.
  • Migrate existing functionality from the existing codebase to the new architecture.

Operational Management:

  • Document all development tasks, diagrams, and other artifacts.
  • Complete activities timely, adhering to process and quality standards.
  • Participate in team discussions, escalating issues and input into change management.
  • Develop high-quality IT solutions within an agile environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional team members in solution development.

People Leadership:

  • Work with a team of developers:
  • Complete tasks timely.
  • Use technology effectively for problem-solving.
  • Introduce innovation to solve business challenges.
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver quality.
  • Interact with global teams/stakeholders.

Governance & Risk:

  • Ensure timely completion of activities, adhering to processes and quality standards.
  • Participate in daily meetings, escalating issues and input into change management.
  • Support QA testing.

Experience & Personal Attributes:

  • Background in Information Technology, including mainstream development languages and modern methodologies.
  • Strong programming skills in C# (7+ years).
  • Experience with Visual BASIC, VBA, VBScript, VB.net.
  • Strong SQL and debugging skills.
  • Low-level database skills.
  • Exposure to Development Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile.
  • Team leadership experience managing a mid-sized team.
