Head of Personal Loan Operations

This is a dynamic leadership position responsible for spearheading our personal loan vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling unsecured loan portfolios and driving business growth through strategic planning, product development, and risk management.

The selected individual will oversee end-to-end profit & loss (P&L) for the personal loan business, define business plans, growth roadmaps, and product strategies, and drive customer acquisition through digital channels, affiliates, partnerships, and co-lending partnerships.

The Head of Personal Loan Operations will be responsible for identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the portfolio, developing innovative personal loan products aligned with customer needs, and optimizing loan approval turnaround time (TAT), onboarding journey, and digital lending processes.

In addition, this role requires collaboration with credit/risk teams to define policies, scorecards, and underwriting models, monitoring portfolio quality, delinquency, and non-performing asset (NPA) trends, and implementing robust fraud detection and collection strategies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as a tech-savvy mindset with exposure to digital loan origination and alternative credit models.

The requirements for this role include an MBA/CA/Finance/Business Management degree from a reputable institution, 10-15 years of experience in retail lending, with at least 5 years in personal loans, and a proven track record in scaling unsecured loan portfolios in NBFCs/Fintechs/Banks.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
