This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and quality compliance of all procurement activities.

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing packaging materials and services in alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Negotiate prices and PO terms with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Issue purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consumption data.
  • Handle QC reports, rejections, and replacements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
