About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our cloud-based projects using Microsoft Azure technologies. This role requires designing, building, and configuring robust and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop cloud-based solutions using various Microsoft Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Service, Functions, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
  2. Create solutions that meet business requirements, are cost-effective, secure, and scalable.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance to junior team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Best Practices and Mentorship:

Ensure the team follows industry guidelines for developing cloud-based solutions, mentor and train team members, and stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and trends.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and participate in agile development methodologies.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Azure Services: Strong proficiency in core Azure services.
  • Virtualization: Deep understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
  • Operating Systems Internals: Solid understanding of operating system principles and internals.
  • Orchestration: Experience with orchestration tools and techniques.
  • Application Architectures: Expertise in designing and implementing application architectures.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Modern Workspace: Experience with Microsoft 365, including Office 365, MS Teams, and SharePoint-based solutions.
  • IoT/IIoT: Knowledge of IoT and IIoT concepts and development.
  • Machine Learning: Familiarity with machine learning concepts and Azure ML services.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Azure Certifications: Relevant Azure certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Azure cloud development.
