We are seeking a seasoned security professional to join our Proofpoint implementation team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled email security engineer to work on high-profile Proofpoint deployments, configurations, and support projects.

  • Deploy and configure Proofpoint solutions (e.g., Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.)
  • Work closely with clients to understand security needs, design appropriate configurations, and ensure successful implementations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems
  • Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients
  • Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint expertise
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions
  • Prior experience with any of the following tools: Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.
  • Understanding of email protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts
  • Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments
