Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Oncologist Consultant to provide specialized care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with cancer. This role involves creating personalized cancer treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, while collaborating with surgical and radiation oncology teams in a multidisciplinary setting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage various types and stages of cancer in adult and/or pediatric patients, utilizing deep knowledge of medical oncology, pharmacology, and cancer biology.
  • Design and supervise chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy regimens, ensuring accurate medical documentation and compliance with treatment protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress, manage side effects, and adjust treatment plans as needed, leveraging excellent decision-making skills in complex oncologic cases.
  • Counsel patients and families on prognosis, treatment options, and supportive care, employing empathetic communication and counseling skills.
  • Collaborate with surgical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care teams, staying up-to-date with latest advancements and evidence-based oncology guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of medical oncology, pharmacology, and cancer biology
  • Excellent decision-making skills in complex oncologic cases
  • Empathetic patient communication and counseling skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary cancer care team
  • Fellowship in Oncology (optional but preferred)
  • Palliative Care certification (for advanced-stage care focus)
