Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the Press & Fabrication department, focusing on delivering high-quality products by managing supplier quality issues and implementing best practices.

  • Monitor Quality Standards Reports (QSR) and vendor Inspection History Reports (IHR) to minimize defects and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyze Engineering Failure Reporting (EFR) issues and collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions.
  • Closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)/Problem Identification Sheets (PIS) within stipulated timelines.
  • Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions process for supplier quality issues.
  • Explore and establish new technologies and process control points for sustaining quality.
  • Conduct site visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
  • Audit vendor processes in line with our Industrial Policy Office (IPO).
  • Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement best practices for defect prevention, reduction in variety, and waste reduction.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance/Quality Planning/Purchase/Component Development.
  • Lead a team responsible for analyzing and reducing quality defects.

Competency Requirements:

  • Good analytical skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Quality Control tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
  • Understanding of casting, machining, and surface treatment processes.
