Job Title: Senior Energy Lawyer

 

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Energy Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice on a wide range of energy-related matters.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to energy projects, including EPC, PPA, O&M agreements
  • Advising on contract management and legal matters during project development, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies such as Electricity Commissions, MNRE, CERC, and relevant government agencies
  • Managing ongoing litigation and disputes in collaboration with external counsel and internal teams

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in law from a recognized institution with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy law
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Prior experience in litigation or dispute resolution in the energy sector would be an advantage
