Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic cloud architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures to support our digital transformation and IT modernization.
- Architect and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
- Design multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure robust cloud governance and security compliance.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP – at least 2 of these at an expert level.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies, workload assessments, and re-architecting solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in retail or e-commerce cloud deployments.
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and monitoring solutions.
