Software Development Lead

 

As a Software Development Lead, you will oversee the delivery of software engineering projects and programs. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive project success.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and internal business teams to ensure understanding of priorities, execution visibility, project delivery, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

You will manage program statuses, financial forecasts, risk tracking, team member communications, and ensure process compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage Program Strategies: Define and implement program strategies and plans to achieve project goals.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, product, and internal business teams to drive project success.
  • Manage Project Progress: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Resolve Delivery Blockers: Identify and resolve delivery blockers, manage interdependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management in software engineering or a related technical field.

• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
