Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure software applications using Ruby on Rails and Node JS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it meets the required standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring the highest quality of code and adherence to coding standards.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails and Node JS.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages, database management systems, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or related databases is a plus.
  • Experience with queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ/Kafka/AWS SQS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and result-oriented culture.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RESTful Web Services and API development using Ruby on Rails or any other Node JS framework.
  • Experience in full-stack development, ranging from front-end user interfaces to backend systems.
  • Experience/knowledge of JavaScript + React Js/TypeScript, Graph Query Language (GQL).
  • Experience of working with Elasticsearch/Solr.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud.
