Job Title: Database Migration Expert

We are seeking a skilled Database Migration Engineer to lead and execute the migration of databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL.

Main Responsibilities
  • Database Migration: Plan and execute the migration of databases from Oracle (11g/12c/19c) to PostgreSQL (12+), including schema, data, and logic conversion
  • Code Refactoring: Convert and optimize PL/SQL code to PL/pgSQL, ensuring functional equivalency and performance improvements.
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance post-migration, addressing issues related to query performance, indexing, and data retrieval

The ideal candidate will have strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL, and experience with tools like ora2pg, pgLoader, AWS DMS, and Flyway. Proficiency in PostgreSQL performance tuning, indexing, and replication is also required.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in database migration and administration, with a focus on Oracle to PostgreSQL migrations
