IT Visionary Leader

This senior leadership role will spearhead the transformation of our organization's technology landscape, driving multi-fold growth and differentiation in the market.

A robust IT foundation is crucial to support this growth, enabling us to position ourselves as a cutting-edge, customer-centric organization.

The Chief Technology Officer will define the strategic vision, roadmap, architecture, and implementation of IT/digital transformation, establishing a lean and agile operations model.

They will work closely with business unit leaders to help us become a truly modern and efficient DevOps organization, driving application modernization and migration across the business.

Our CTO will define an integrated data management approach and build an AI-enabled business analytics capability, helping us monetize data and leverage it for superior experience and business value creation.

Additionally, they will visualize and build customer/employee-centric experience platforms connecting our organization while building a comprehensive security framework.

Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will provide oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on strategy, standards, and opportunities for shared services and economies of scale.

  • Develop and implement the IT & Digital transformation vision and strategy in alignment with our business objectives.
  • Position us as a thought leader in industry forums and create visibility – own innovation charter across our organization.
  • Advise the senior management team on emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to our goals and evolving needs.
  • Define futuristic IT architecture focused on experience-led customer/employee-centric systems – delivering a seamless omni-channel experience across sales and service.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 20 years of experience in IT/Tech – preferably in retail organizations or in services companies while managing end-to-end responsibilities for enterprises.
  • Experience in digital transformation for enterprises – experience with retail industry preferred – spanning across business processes.
  • Experience with omnichannel systems required for a new generation retailer.
  • Experience across applications, infrastructure, network, and end-user IT environment operations.
  • Ability to define and manage a futuristic IT architecture – spanning applications, data, and security.
  • Experience in establishing an IT governance model across our organization.
  • Experience in DevOps transformation.
  • Experience in Process transformation.
  • Exposure to AI and automation technologies.
  • Willingness to take risks and ability to start from scratch.
  • Target orientation and familiarity with service delivery constructs relevant to IT services – experience in building and managing a partner ecosystem.
  • Front-line leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Technology and architecture concepts – Industry trends/disruptors.
