Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and its foundational services. He/she should also have hands-on experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing Azure environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness. The candidate should also be proficient in developing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD/Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

Other duties include automating software build, testing, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery. He/she should also be able to collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD practices and tools.

  • Designing, Implementing, and Managing Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.
  • Monitoring and Optimizing Azure Environments: Monitor and optimize Azure environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Developing and Maintaining CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD/Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Requirements:

  • 3+ years minimum experience in Enterprise IT Environments
  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge and hands-on working experience
  • Strong IAC Code Experience (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Strong Experience in Python or Golang
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical field
  • Certification - Kubernetes (Preferred)
  • Certification - Azure Associate Administrator (Preferred)
