Cloud Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based systems.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will also ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and code reviews.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based systems using AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for future development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Big-Data Technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience with data engineering analytics platforms (Hortonworks Cloudera MapR AWS), AWS preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with data ingestion tools (Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, Sqoop, Oozie).
