Sales Coordination Role Overview
Hapag-Lloyd AG is seeking a skilled Sales Coordination Specialist to deliver quality support to Sales Execution and Sales Steering. The ideal candidate will optimize vessel utilization, prepare rate quotations, and filter rate requests to ensure cargo alignment with company aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare rate quotations and filter rate requests to ensure cargo alignment with company aspirations
- Optimize vessel utilization in view of volume and profitability
- Follow the Four Eye principle for all BCO/tender contracts filed for MIN
- Review quotations on basis of contribution and imbalances aspects using FIS pre calculation
- Coordinate with Trade Management for service contract proposals and special rate offers
- Handle free time & waiver application
- Maintain contracts and amendments
- Handle Bids/Tenders
- Follow up on account quotes and existing accounts in conjunction with all respective departments
- Filing/publishing rates, service contracts, and amendments with the FMC
- Manage customer disputes including coordination with involved parties
- Handle campaign management and coordinate mass mailings for customers
- Handle Customer Data Management (Organizational Catalogue)
- Update CRM with rate offers, customer follow-ups done
- Monitor KPI performance and discuss during weekly 1 on 1 with manager/supervisor
- Perform other Sales-related tasks as requested by Management
Requirements
- Active knowledge of market, maritime documents, and commercial terms
- Active knowledge of sales techniques
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial role, preferably in the maritime sector
- Active knowledge of English 'maritime' language
- Active knowledge of MS Office
