Fire and Safety Officer

As a Fire and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property by maintaining fire safety equipment, responding to emergencies, and providing training and education on fire prevention and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain fire hydrant systems, including checking fire pumps, leakages, and performing preventive maintenance
  • Respond to fire calls, gas leaks, chemical spills, and other emergencies
  • Perform regular inspections and testing of fire extinguishers
  • Provide training and education on firefighting equipment, rescue drills, and fire drills
  • Assist in arranging medical transport for injured personnel
  • First aid response as required
  • Monitoring and supervision of pest control treatment

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or certifications in fire safety and emergency management

Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; physical fitness and stamina for emergency responses
